Internationally-renowned motivational speaker Paul Butler will share his leadership knowledge in the field of law enforcement. During Butler’s 27-year law enforcement career he served as a police officer, sergeant, crisis negotiator, and was the youngest police chief in South Carolina’s history, becoming Aynor Chief of Police at age 22. The Horry County (South Carolina) Sheriff’s Office Chief Deputy attended the FBI National Academy in 2005. His academy class chose him to be the graduation day speaker, alongside former FBI Director Robert Mueller. He now serves as the official Master of Ceremonies for the FBI National Academy Associates and the FBI Law Enforcement Development Association at annual training conferences.
