Ironwood Public Safety Officers had gotten used to negotiating their own bargaining agreements, despite having Union representation. Making the switch to the POLC not only brought their labor representative to the bargaining table, it netted them huge raises and benefit increases.

NAPO issued a letter of support to the House of Representatives for the Fuel the Force Act, H.R. 7210, which would provide $100,000 in annual federal income tax exclusion to full-time federal, state, and local law enforcement officers who remain on the job for 5 years or more.
