Posted by: Jennifer Foley Posted date: February 24, 2016

February is turning out to be a hot topic month for NAPO initiatives supporting law enforcement officers. In a victory for NAPO, the House approved by a vote of 387-12 the National 9/11 Memorial at the World Trade Center Act;  NAPO sent a letter to NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell condemning support of cop-killer “entertainment” during the Super Bowl’s half-time show; United States Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia’s recent death means the Court is now evenly split between Republican and Democratic appointees; and President Obama releases his budget proposal for fiscal year 2017.
