Airbnb offers medical workers, first responders free or subsidized housing

Posted by: jgomori Posted date: March 26, 2020

In response to the coronavirus pandemic, Airbnb is offering first responders, health care professionals and other relief personnel a place to stay for free or through subsidized housing.

The move is in response to medical workers and first responders who are isolating from their own families and loved ones due to their heightened risk of exposure to the coronavirus. Others have sought places to stay that are closer to their workplaces, eliminating the need to commute.
