• New two-year agreement expires Dec. 31, 2019.
• Wages:
Lump sum $300 payment effective Dec. 1, 2018.
Wage reopener effective Jan. 1, 2019.
• Fringe Benefits: Training Officers will receive one additional hour of straight time pay for every shift spent training a new Dispatcher. Shift premiums for afternoons and midnights increase by 20 cents per hour. Add “Immediate Family Member” to the language which qualifies Funeral Leave to be granted.
• Inclement Weather Clause: If County offices are closed due to inclement weather or other unforeseen circumstances, Dispatchers will be paid 2-1/2 times their regular pay.
• Retirement: Employee contribution to DB increases by 1% at the end of the contract, effective Dec. 31, 2019.
• Bargaining Team: Dawn Tola and Darla Wordan aided by GELC Labor Rep. John Stidham.
