Posted by: Jennifer Gomori Posted date: August 10, 2017

Ford Motor Company has agreed to cover the cost of repairs for carbon monoxide leaks in their Police Interceptor version of the Explorer. This comes after departments across the country have complained about high levels of carbon monoxide in the vehicles, according to a Fox61.com article.

Ford will pay repair costs to all Police Interceptor Utility vehicles “regardless of age, mileage or aftermarket modifications made after purchase.”
