Limited quantities of National Law Enforcement Memorial and Museum coins on sale

Posted by: jgomori Posted date: July 9, 2020

The National Law Enforcement Memorial and Museum is selling a limited number of U.S. Mint commemorative silver coins, which were issued in honor of the 6th anniversary of the dedication of the Memorial. These coins were originally made available to the public from September 15, 1997 to December 15, 1998.

Money raised from coin sales will help fund the Memorial and Museum. The National Law Enforcement Museum has been closed during the pandemic and is expected to reopen in September.

Beginning in January 2021, the U.S. Mint is slated to produce new National Law Enforcement Memorial and Museum Commemorative Coins. The profits from the sale of these coins will help endow programs and exhibits at the museum.
