Posted by: jgomori Posted date: April 13, 2020

NAPO shared a letter of support, dated April 11, 2020, from Dr. Peter Killeen, who serves as the stress counselor for the members of the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey Police Department PBA and police unions.

“Dr. Killeen sent this letter to the members of the Port Authority unions and also to NAPO President Mick McHale, who also asked that we share it with all our members,” wrote NAPO Executive Director Bill Johnson in an email to members. “Hopefully, it can provide some hopeful thoughts and useful tips in recognizing, addressing, and coping with the stress that the current COVID-19 pandemic is causing to ourselves, our workplaces, and our families.”
