NAPO shares ways to help ambushed Los Angeles Deputies

Several groups have inquired through NAPO about ways to assist the Los Angeles County Deputies who were ambushed as they sat in their vehicle in an assassination attempt Sept. 12.  The 31-year-old female deputy and 24-year-old male deputy were critically injured, suffering multiple gunshot wounds, according to police.

The following information was provided by Association for Los Angeles Deputy Sheriffs (ALADS), the union representing the Los Angeles Deputies, for anyone interested in helping:

Funds are being collecting via ALADS C.A.R.E.S. Foundation, which is a 501 (c)(3) organization. Contributions can be made by using the form below or via the link provided below.

The sheriff’s department is offering a $175,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the suspect, who remains at large.
