Winter 2021 Police Officers Journal recognizes officer heroism, losses during pandemic

Posted by: jgomori Posted date: February 9, 2021

The Winter 2021 Police Officers Journal features POLC officers who were awarded for their bravery under extreme circumstances. Six officers received 2020 POLC Outstanding Service Awards and national attention for their acts of heroism.

This edition also serves as somber recognition of the fact that many law enforcement officers have paid the ultimate price as frontline workers during this pandemic. COVID-19 was the leading cause of line-of-duty deaths for U.S. officers in 2020 and contributed to a 96 percent increase in deaths compared to 2019.

The electronic flip-page Winter 2021 Police Officers Journal may be downloaded to a device or as a PDF and shared. It has several options to enhance viewer experience, such as a Zoom and Fullscreen features.
